A textile artist, Susan’s creations use traditional rughooking techniques-in contemporary designs. Holiday inventory includes hooked pins as unique jewelry and small mats for decorative conversation.

The studio is filled with rughooking supplies,a rainbow of hand dyed wools and patterns.
Just published, Design Basics for Rug Hookers by Susan L. Feller is available autographed. Introducing the elements and principles of design it is not just for rughookers.
An international instructor, author and award winning artist, Susan is juried into TAMARACK, and MountainMade, two exclusive West Virginia artisan galleries. Her work has received a Merit Award in the West Virginia Juried Exhibition 2007 and been selected to travel to Japan during 2009, and a Merit Award for Best of West Virginia 2011.

While following the traditions of generations past, pulling strips of wool to create the soft pile, Feller also pushes the fiber techniques into abstract designs calling on the natural resources around her home in Hampshire County as inspiration.
