Lin Hausknecht grew up in Western New York, & has lived in Yellow Spring for over 20 years. She has enjoyed creating with clay for more than 25 yeares. She makes a variety of objects with clay, throwing many items on the potter’s wheel, including casseroles, mugs, planters, birdfeeders, & bowls. She also hand-builds items, and utilizes various firing methods.
During the studio tour, you can visit her in Yellow Spring, along the Cacapon River, & see her unique pottery. She will also be demonstrating pottery-making during the
week-end.
DIRECTIONS DURING STUDIO TOUR: from Capon Brigde: next to the BRIDGE, turn onto Cacapon River Road. It will end at RT 25; turn right & go 1.4 miles. See house on right, mailbox #76
